Info Edge names Himanshu Agarwal as CFO, brings back Naresh Gupta
Info Edge (India) Ltd has announced significant leadership moves, appointing Himanshu Agarwal as Chief Financial Officer and Whole-time Director effective September 2026, while bringing back former Adobe India Managing Director Naresh Chand Gupta as an Independent Director.

The online classifieds platform disclosed the executive appointments through a regulatory filing on Monday. Agarwal will assume the CFO role from September 17, 2026, marking a key transition in the company's financial leadership. Ambarish Raghuvanshi, who has served as Interim CFO since November 2025, will transition to a Finance Advisor and Senior Management Personnel role, extending his tenure until October 31, 2026, to facilitate a smooth handover.
Gupta, a veteran of the Indian technology sector, will join the board as an Additional Director and Non-Executive Independent Director for a five-year term commencing October 1, 2026. The 57-year-old executive previously served on Info Edge's board until March 2023 and brings extensive corporate experience. He currently holds the position of designated partner at Accuracap Technologies and serves as a board member at eClerx Services and NoPaperForms Solutions.
These changes underscore Info Edge's commitment to strengthening its governance structure and financial management as the company navigates evolving market dynamics in India's digital economy.
