InsuranceDekho and RenewBuy have completed a merger to establish what the companies claim is India's largest artificial intelligence-powered insurance platform. The combined operation will manage a premium portfolio exceeding Rs 6,600 crore while leveraging advanced technology to streamline insurance distribution and customer engagement.
The merged entity will operate through a network of over 6 lakh digital partners, enabling it to reach customers across 98.57 per cent of India's pin codes. This extensive reach positions the platform to serve both urban and underserved markets, addressing a significant gap in insurance accessibility across the country.
The merger underscores a broader industry trend toward consolidation and digital-first models in India's insurance sector. By combining their technology infrastructure and distribution networks, the two platforms aim to enhance operational efficiency while expanding their customer base and product offerings through AI-driven personalization and automation.
