InterContinental Danang crowned Asia's best resort by Condé Nast Traveler

The Vietnamese beachfront property clinched first place in Condé Nast Traveler's "Top 15 Resorts in Asia" list announced on October 6, recording a score of 98.76 points. The recognition underscores the growing prominence of Vietnam's hospitality sector on the global luxury travel stage.

Wildflower Hall, Shimla—an Oberoi resort located in India's Himachal Pradesh—secured second place with 98.56 points, while The Oberoi Vindhyavilas Wildlife Resort in Bandhavgarh rounded out the top three with 98.36 points. The tight scoring margins reflect the exceptional standards maintained across Asia's premium resort offerings.

The rankings form part of Condé Nast Traveler's 2026 Readers' Choice Awards, an annual assessment based on reader feedback and evaluations of hospitality destinations across multiple categories. The publication, a leading authority on travel and lifestyle coverage, compiles its lists to guide discerning travelers in selecting premium accommodations.

The award positions the InterContinental Danang as a flagship property within Asia's competitive luxury resort market, reinforcing Vietnam's appeal as a destination for high-end tourism.
