Interior Secretary Juanito Victor Remulla issued a stern warning against the True Brown Style (TBS) gang, declaring that law enforcement will intensify its campaign against the criminal organization. The warning comes as the group allegedly uses robbery initiations to recruit minors into its ranks.
"This has become too much," Remulla stated, signaling growing concern over the gang's activities and recruitment tactics targeting young people. The Interior Secretary indicated that police leadership across the country have been convened to coordinate the response.
Remulla said authorities are actively gathering intelligence on gang members and have committed to apprehending those responsible for the criminal operations. The Interior Department has positioned the anti-gang initiative as a priority, with command conferences bringing together police units to develop a unified strategy.
The TBS gang's method of forcing robbery participation as part of gang initiation has drawn particular attention from authorities. Remulla's remarks reflect mounting pressure on law enforcement agencies to address gang violence and youth recruitment, concerns that have become increasingly prominent in urban areas across the country.
