Prashakha Mathur has been placed on Administrative Probation Order (APO) as part of an ongoing investigation into property transactions at the Ananta resort in Bujhda, Udaipur. The action follows similar measures taken against her husband, IPS officer Shikhar Agrawal.
According to the inquiry, Mathur and Agrawal allegedly purchased 10 villas each at the resort in March 2026, with each property valued at ₹15 lakh. The transactions have drawn scrutiny from investigating agencies examining the circumstances and legitimacy of the bulk acquisitions.
The probe into the property deals forms part of a broader examination of the couple's financial activities. The placement on APO is a standard administrative measure taken during such investigations to ensure compliance with inquiry procedures.
Details regarding the source of funds for the purchases and the rationale behind acquiring multiple properties simultaneously remain under investigation. Both Agrawal and Mathur are cooperating with authorities in the inquiry process.
