Iran raises fuel prices, targets consumption cuts amid economic pressure

Iran has rolled out revised fuel pricing mechanisms designed to discourage excessive consumption as the country grapples with energy sector pressures. Under the new structure, motorists consuming more than 110 litres per month face significantly increased costs, with prices rising to 100,000 riyals per litre for usage beyond that threshold.
