The Seville-based club secured a decisive victory that propelled them ahead of Real Madrid into the third position in the standings. Isco, the experienced midfielder, was instrumental in Betis's attacking display, netting two goals as the hosts overwhelmed their opponents at home.
The emphatic scoreline underscores Betis's resurgent form this season, with the club mounting a serious challenge for European qualification spots. Osasuna's defensive frailties were exposed throughout the encounter, as Betis's attacking players found multiple openings to exploit.
With the win, Betis strengthens their claim as one of La Liga's top contenders, moving ahead of the reigning champions Real Madrid in the table. The three points keep the Andalusian side firmly in contention for Champions League football next season, with several matches still remaining in the campaign.
