Israeli Forces Kill Hamas Operative Linked to October 7 Abductions

The Israeli Defence Force and Shin Bet security agency said they targeted and killed a Hamas member in the Nuseirat refugee camp in Gaza, alleging the individual played a role in the kidnapping of Israeli civilians Noa Argamani and Avivthan Or during the October 7, 2023 militant assault.
The operation marks a continuation of Israel's ongoing efforts to locate and neutralize Hamas operatives believed responsible for the coordinated attacks that triggered the current conflict. The two civilians whose abduction the deceased was accused of facilitating were among dozens of hostages taken during the cross-border raid.
