ISRO Successfully Deploys EOS-05 Earth Observation Satellite

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has achieved another milestone in its space programme with the successful deployment of EOS-05, a new earth observation satellite. The satellite was carried into orbit by the GSLV-F17 launch vehicle, which placed the spacecraft into a Sub-Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (Sub-GTO) as intended.
Earth observation satellites form a critical component of ISRO's infrastructure for remote sensing and environmental monitoring. These satellites gather data on land use, natural resources, agricultural patterns, weather systems, and other terrestrial phenomena, providing valuable information for scientific research and policy-making across multiple sectors.
