Ixigo Ltd, the Indian online travel and ticketing platform, returned to profitability in the second quarter of fiscal 2027, posting a net profit of Rs 61.3 crore, a significant turnaround from losses recorded in the year-ago period.

The company's consolidated revenue increased 12.9 per cent year-on-year to Rs 321 crore during the quarter, reflecting steady growth in its core travel services business. The bottom-line performance was aided by one-time gains, though the company also demonstrated improved operational efficiency with EBITDA turning positive at Rs 18.1 crore.

The margin expansion signals progress in Ixigo's path toward sustained profitability as the company continues to scale its business operations across flight bookings, hotel reservations, and other travel-related services. The results come as India's online travel sector continues to benefit from rising middle-class consumption and increased domestic and international travel demand.

The quarter's performance underscores the company's efforts to balance growth with profitability, a key metric closely watched by investors in the competitive Indian travel technology space.
