Jackass star Steve-O opens animal sanctuary on Tennessee ranch

Steve-O, the renowned performer from the Jackass franchise, has launched an ambitious animal welfare initiative by converting his sprawling Tennessee ranch into a dedicated sanctuary for rescued creatures. Situated in the vicinity of Nashville, The Radical Ranch operates as a nonprofit organization committed to providing refuge for animals in need.

Since its establishment earlier this year, the sanctuary has welcomed nine animals to its 44-acre grounds. Current residents include goats and pigs that have been rescued and rehabilitated at the facility. The sanctuary aims to create a safe environment where these animals can recover and thrive away from harm.

Looking ahead, Steve-O has outlined ambitious expansion plans for the sanctuary. The performer intends to broaden the facility's scope to accommodate additional species, including cattle and poultry. This growth strategy reflects a broader commitment to animal welfare and rescue operations.

Beyond providing shelter, The Radical Ranch seeks to foster greater compassion and empathy towards animals across all species. The initiative represents a significant personal investment by Steve-O in animal conservation and rescue efforts, marking a substantial shift toward philanthropic work in the entertainment personality's career trajectory.
