A communications team member of Jan Suraaj, the political outfit led by political strategist Prashant Kishor, has gone missing from a moving train between Ranchi and Patna, prompting concerns about his whereabouts.
Devpalik Gupta boarded the Janshatabdi Express at Ranchi station alongside a companion. During the journey, Gupta visited the pantry car to purchase food but failed to return to his seat, his travel companion reported.
The incident has raised questions given Gupta's association with Jan Suraaj, which has been actively campaigning in Bihar. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance from the train remain unclear, with no immediate updates on his location or status.
Railway authorities have been alerted to the incident. Jan Suraaj, which has positioned itself as an anti-corruption political movement in Bihar, has not yet issued a public statement regarding the matter. Investigations into the disappearance are reportedly underway.
