A delegation of 24 international nuclear experts engaged in Navratri celebrations at the residential colony of the Rawatbhata Atomic Power Station in Chittorgarh district, Rajasthan. The specialists, affiliated with a Japan-based centre, were visiting the facility to oversee quality assurance work on the fifth unit of the thermal power plant.
The foreign visitors participated in traditional Garba festivities organized at the Circular Garden within the colony, joining local residents in performing Dandiya, a popular folk dance associated with Navratri celebrations. The event provided the international delegation with direct exposure to Indian cultural practices during the festive season.
The exchange reflected growing cultural interaction between international technical teams and local communities at India's nuclear facilities. Such occasions have become increasingly common at industrial and research installations across the country, fostering goodwill between foreign professionals and host communities while providing insights into India's traditional customs and celebrations.
