JD(S) pulls out of opposition coalition's Ballari march

The opposition coalition in Karnataka faces fresh friction as the Janata Dal (Secular) announced it will not participate in an opposition padayatra planned for Ballari district. JD(S) leader H.D. Kumaraswamy said he would remain unavailable for the march due to his scheduled attendance at an AKKA event in the United States. The commitment, he indicated, would prevent his participation in the padayatra during the planned timeframe.
