Jeepney overturns in Romblon, injuring eleven passengers
Eleven people sustained injuries when a passenger jeepney overturned along a national highway in Romblon province on Wednesday. All those affected were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred in Sitio Bagacuta, Barangay Paroyhog in Santa Maria town when the jeepney veered off the national road, according to reports from the Santa Maria Municipal Police Station. Emergency responders were alerted and all eleven injured passengers were evacuated from the vehicle. The injured were subsequently rushed to the nearest medical facility where they received immediate medical attention for their injuries. The exact cause of the accident remains under investigation by local police authorities. Officials did not immediately disclose the severity of the injuries sustained by those aboard the jeepney at the time of the incident.
