Jetwing Hotels receives Presidential Environment Awards for sustainability efforts

Jetwing St. Andrew's and Jetwing Vil Uyana have been honoured with Presidential Environment Awards, recognising their dedication to environmental stewardship and sustainable business practices.

The awards, organised by the Central Environmental Authority (CEA) under the Ministry of Environment, identify organisations and individuals excelling across key environmental categories. Recognition criteria include green management approaches, sustainability reporting and disclosure mechanisms, pollution control measures, solid waste management initiatives, and carbon emissions reduction strategies.

The honours reflect Jetwing Hotels' broader commitment to integrating environmental responsibility into its operations across its portfolio of properties. The awards acknowledge the company's efforts to minimise its ecological footprint while maintaining service standards in the hospitality sector.

The Central Environmental Authority's recognition programme aims to incentivise and celebrate environmental leadership among Sri Lanka's private and public sector organisations, encouraging the adoption of best practices in sustainability and resource management.
