The Jharkhand CID expanded its investigation into examination malpractices with the arrest of two more persons on Tuesday, officials said. The development comes as authorities intensify their probe into alleged irregularities surrounding the JSSC-CGL examination.

The newly arrested individuals join three previously detained suspects in the case. Earlier, CID personnel had apprehended Abhay Tiwari, identified as a key accused in the matter, along with his wife Sushama Kumari and his brother Akshay Tiwari. All three were taken into custody in connection with the alleged examination irregularities.

The JSSC-CGL examination is a significant recruitment examination in Jharkhand for graduate-level positions. The investigation into purported malpractices has escalated with the expanding list of arrests, suggesting a wider network of involvement in the alleged scheme.
