Jio Platforms has completed the first phase of its initial public offering process following investor engagement meetings held across major financial centres, according to sources familiar with the development. The roadshows, which were led by Managing Director and Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani and Reliance Retail Ventures Limited Executive Director Isha Ambani, covered the United States, United Kingdom, Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong.
The company has now entered the final stages of IPO preparation, with officials beginning work on filing a red herring prospectus—a preliminary regulatory document required under Indian securities law. This development comes roughly a month after Jio Platforms obtained clearance from market regulator SEBI to proceed with its public offering.
The proposed flotation would mark a significant milestone for Reliance Industries' digital portfolio, which encompasses broadband, entertainment and other technology services. At an estimated valuation of $3.8 billion, the offering would rank among India's largest IPOs on record. Jio Platforms declined to comment on the matter when contacted for additional information.
