JioBlackRock targets ₹25,000 crore AUM by FY27 amid robust growth

JioBlackRock AMC announced the launch of its JioBlackRock Balanced Advantage Fund, marking another milestone for the joint venture as it accelerates its expansion in India's mutual fund sector. The company's assets under management have surged to ₹22,000 crore from approximately ₹16,000 crore in March, reflecting strong investor traction since operations commenced in the 2025-26 fiscal year.

Chief Investment Officer Rishi Kohli expressed confidence in the company's growth trajectory, stating that the firm is well-positioned to cross the ₹25,000 crore AUM threshold by fiscal 2026-27. "Traction remains healthy, and we have a robust pipeline of products for launch," Kohli said, noting that the second half of the current financial year will see increased activity with multiple fund introductions planned.

The newly launched Balanced Advantage Fund is structured as an open-ended dynamic asset allocation scheme, with its New Fund Offer running from September 11 to September 25. The fund employs a dynamically managed portfolio combining equity and debt instruments, designed to generate long-term capital appreciation while targeting an alpha of 3-4 per cent above its benchmark through proprietary BlackRock investment methodologies.

JioBlackRock's expansion comes as the mutual fund industry in India witnesses sustained growth, driven by increasing retail investor participation and the rise of systematic investment plans. The company's aggressive product launches and AUM growth underscores the competitive dynamics of India's asset management sector.
