JK Cement Ltd on Saturday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 169.3 crore for the second quarter of FY2026-27, marking a 6.31 per cent increase from Rs 159.25 crore in the year-ago period. The growth was underpinned by strong volume expansion across the company's product portfolio, according to regulatory filings and an investor presentation released by the JK Organisation Group flagship.
Revenue from operations surged 23.65 per cent to Rs 3,733.42 crore in the July-September quarter from Rs 3,019.20 crore a year earlier. Grey cement sales volumes climbed 21 per cent to 5.37 million tonnes, while white cement volumes rose 13 per cent to 0.49 million tonnes during the period.
The company achieved "robust volume growth and higher profitability despite cost pressures," the investor presentation stated. However, total operating expenses climbed 24.34 per cent to Rs 3,515.71 crore in the September quarter, reflecting inflationary pressures on input costs and other operational expenses. Total income, including other revenue streams, rose 22.84 per cent during the same period.
The results underscore JK Cement's ability to navigate cost headwinds through improved operational efficiencies and market demand, positioning it favourably amid India's ongoing infrastructure and construction momentum.
