JOHOR BAHRU — Johor has activated preparedness measures to address potential water scarcity linked to the expected El Niño phenomenon, which meteorologists predict will influence weather patterns from October onwards.
State authorities have confirmed that cloud seeding exercises will be deployed if water levels at any of the state's 17 reservoirs fall below critical thresholds.
