The Johor royal family has decided to postpone its planned Family Day carnival due to deteriorating air quality caused by regional haze. Raja Zarith Sofiah, the Raja Permaisuri Agong, issued the directive to delay the event in light of current atmospheric conditions affecting the state.
According to the royal household, the carnival will be rescheduled once air quality improves to levels deemed safe for public gatherings. The decision prioritises the health and wellbeing of participants and attendees who would have been exposed to poor air conditions during the outdoor event.
