JPJ services unaffected by Zetrix suspension, Transport Minister assures

The suspension of Zetrix, a digital payment platform, will not impact essential Road Transport Department (JPJ) services, Transport Minister Anthony Loke confirmed. Members of the public can continue to renew their road tax and settle traffic summonses via the MyJPJ application without any service interruptions.

Loke's reassurance comes as Zetrix faced operational challenges, raising concerns among motorists about potential delays in accessing JPJ services. The minister clarified that alternative payment channels remain fully operational to serve the public.

The MyJPJ app has become a crucial digital touchpoint for Malaysian motorists seeking to manage their vehicle-related obligations conveniently. The platform allows users to handle multiple transactions including vehicle registration renewals, traffic fine payments, and road tax settlements from their mobile devices.

JPJ officials have urged the public to use the MyJPJ application to avoid queues at physical counters and to ensure their transactions are processed smoothly. The department continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates should there be any changes to service availability.

Mottorists facing any issues with JPJ services are advised to contact the department directly through official channels or visit their nearest service centre for assistance.
