Jurel credits Pant's guidance in stellar Test hundred against Sri Lanka

Dhruv Jurel attributed much of his success during India's second Test against Sri Lanka to the mentorship of established batsman Rishabh Pant, with whom he forged an important 112-run partnership on the second day of the match.

Jurel, whose unbeaten 115 demonstrated composure and tactical awareness, revealed that he regularly sought Pant's counsel while batting together. "We all know Pant is such a terrific player and what he has done for India in Australia and England. Whenever he is in, I seek his advice because he has so much experience," Jurel said at the post-day press conference.
