Just Dial Ltd reported a consolidated net profit of ₹107.8 crore for the quarter ended September 30, down from ₹119.44 crore in the same period last year, according to a regulatory filing. The decline contrasts with the company's operational performance, where revenue from operations climbed 13.11 per cent to ₹342.82 crore against ₹303.07 crore in the year-ago quarter.
The profitability decline reflects rising operational expenses, which surged 14.6 per cent year-on-year to ₹262.81 crore during the September quarter. This outpaced the revenue growth rate, placing pressure on margins for the digital local search platform.
The company, which is owned by Reliance Retail Ventures—the retail division of Reliance Industries—reported total income of ₹397.38 crore for the quarter, up 5.6 per cent from the prior year. Market sentiment remained positive, with Just Dial's share price rising 2.82 per cent to close at ₹732.55 on the BSE following the results announcement.
