Kalpataru Projects International, a major player in India's engineering and construction sector, has clinched new project orders valued at ₹2,349 crore, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing to stock exchanges.
The fresh orders span power transmission and distribution infrastructure as well as buildings and factory construction segments within India. The contract wins underscore continued demand for engineering services across the country's power and industrial development sectors.
Cumulative order inflows for the ongoing financial year—the period through March 2027—have now crossed ₹22,000 crore, reflecting robust project acquisition momentum for the Chennai-headquartered contractor.
Kalpataru's order book expansion comes as India ramps up infrastructure spending, particularly in renewable energy transmission, grid modernization, and industrial capacity. The company's diversified project portfolio across power and manufacturing segments positions it to capitalize on sustained demand from both government and private-sector clients seeking execution capabilities for complex engineering projects.
