Karnataka to hold PU college principal recruitment exam as scheduled

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has confirmed it will conduct the written examination for recruitment of pre-university college principals as per the original schedule on November 20 and 22.

The decision comes after the lecturers' association had sought a one-month postponement of the examination, citing insufficient preparation time for candidates. The association had formally submitted a representation to KEA requesting the delay.

Despite the representation, KEA has decided to maintain the examination timeline. Officials indicated that the recruitment process would proceed without further modifications to the announced dates.

The examination is a key recruitment drive for filling principal positions across pre-university colleges in Karnataka. Candidates who have registered for the examination are advised to complete their preparation accordingly and report to their assigned examination centres on the specified dates.
