Initial examinations conducted by the Kedah Department of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDN) have ruled out water contamination in petrol samples from service stations in the northern state. Samples extracted from storage tanks at 11 fuel stations underwent testing, with results showing no traces of water in the supplies. The inspection was part of a quality assurance protocol following reports of potential fuel irregularities in the state. Authorities have not ruled out further testing or expanded investigations if additional concerns emerge. The KPDN continues to monitor fuel quality standards at petrol stations throughout Kedah to ensure consumer protection and compliance with national specifications.
