ALOR SETAR — Kedah PAS and Umno have indicated they are not yet ready to negotiate seat arrangements, despite ongoing efforts to strengthen political cooperation between the two parties.
Party officials said the focus remains on building a constructive environment that would pave the way for more substantial discussions. The two parties, which have historically maintained complex ties in the state, are treading carefully as they explore the possibility of closer alignment.
