A group of students from Kegalu Balika Vidyalaya took part in the 'Vision' educational programme on Wednesday, an initiative organised by the Presidential Secretariat to broaden students' understanding of the country's civic and political systems. The programme aims to complement traditional classroom instruction by offering direct learning experiences related to Sri Lanka's history, democratic frameworks and public administration mechanisms.

Participants in the 'Vision' programme were afforded the opportunity to visit facilities at the Presidential Secretariat, providing them with first-hand exposure to the functioning of key government institutions. The visit formed part of a broader educational outreach effort to foster greater awareness among young people about the nation's administrative and constitutional structures.

The Presidential Secretariat's initiative seeks to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge taught in schools and practical understanding of how governance operates at the national level. By exposing students to these institutions early in their educational journey, organisers aim to cultivate informed and engaged citizens with a deeper comprehension of their country's democratic processes.
