KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 19 — Commuters on the Kelana Jaya LRT Line faced disruptions today as Rapid KL attributed service delays to a suspected power supply fault affecting the line's operations.

The transit authority did not immediately specify which stations were most affected or provide an estimated timeframe for the resumption of normal services. Passengers were advised to allow additional travel time for their journeys on the line, which connects key areas across the Klang Valley.

Rapid KL's technical teams mobilised to investigate and address the power supply issue. The authority typically works to minimise passenger inconvenience during such infrastructure disruptions by deploying additional bus services as alternative transport where possible.

The incident comes as the Kelana Jaya Line continues to serve as a critical transport artery for thousands of daily commuters across Kuala Lumpur and surrounding areas. Commuters were urged to check for further updates from Rapid KL through its official channels.
