The event had been scheduled to provide media personnel and institute stakeholders with an opportunity to interact with the Chief Minister and senior cabinet members on matters of state governance and policy initiatives. However, logistical challenges and time management constraints prompted the decision to call off the engagement.

Security considerations also factored into the decision, according to officials familiar with the matter. Such high-level interactions typically require extensive security arrangements and advance coordination with relevant agencies.

The development reflects the demanding schedule maintained by senior government functionaries, who often juggle multiple official commitments across the state. IIM Kozhikode has not yet announced any alternative date for rescheduling the press interaction with the Chief Minister and cabinet members.
