Kerala govt examines AG opinion on ED case against former CM Vijayan

The Kerala Home Department has initiated an examination of the state's Attorney General's legal opinion concerning the Enforcement Directorate's application to lodge a case against former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, according to senior Congress leader P.C. Chennithala. The development marks a significant procedural step in what has become a closely-watched case involving the state's previous administration.

Chennithala, addressing questions about potential political discussions on the matter, indicated that such talks are unnecessary at this stage. When asked whether Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan planned to raise the issue during meetings with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi, Chennithala stated there was no requirement for such discussions.
