The Leader of the Opposition in Kerala's assembly made an appeal for state-level intervention to end the labour dispute affecting the Madhyamam newspaper, as journalists and press workers intensified their agitation in the state capital.
The continuous demonstration, held outside the Secretariat in Thiruvananthapuram, was jointly organised by the Kerala Union of Working Journalists and the Kerala Newspaper Employees' Federation.
