Kerala Postal Circle rolls out next-day delivery service in major cities

The Kerala Postal Circle has launched a new expedited delivery service targeting Speed Post consignments across six major municipal corporations in Kerala. The 'Assured Next Day Delivery' scheme guarantees that qualifying items will reach their destinations within 24 hours of dispatch from postal facilities in these urban centers.

The service covers Speed Post articles originating from and destined to the six Municipal Corporations, streamlining the logistics chain to meet the next-day delivery guarantee. This move reflects India Post's broader efforts to modernize its services and compete with private courier operators in the e-commerce and urgent delivery segments.

The initiative is expected to benefit businesses, online retailers, and individual customers who rely on postal services for time-sensitive shipments.
