Kerala University land surveyed, not AKG Centre property: Revenue Minister

Kerala's Revenue Minister A.P. Anil Kumar has clarified that the ongoing land survey is limited to Kerala University's property and does not extend to the AKG Centre premises. The statement comes amid reports of the survey operation in the region.

According to the minister, the survey aims to document any increase or decrease in the university's land holdings by comparing current findings with existing records maintained by Kerala University. The comparative analysis will form the basis of an official report to be filed with the High Court.

The Revenue Minister indicated that the survey process is on track for submission of findings by October 15. The report is expected to provide a detailed account of the university's property status based on official documentation and on-ground verification.

The clarification distinguishes between the university's own land holdings and other properties in the vicinity, addressing concerns about the scope and extent of the ongoing survey operation. The submission to the High Court will serve as an official record of the university's property inventory.
