Kharge Issues Playful Warning to Rally Crowd Over Noise Levels

At the opposition coalition's gathering in the national capital, Kharge stood silently on the dais for approximately 30 seconds as party workers and supporters continued shouting slogans at high volume. The Congress leader appeared visibly unamused by the persistent noise levels echoing across the venue.

Using humor to make his point, Kharge cautioned the crowd that should they persist with such exuberance, he would respond by delivering an hour-long speech—an implicit suggestion that such a lengthy address might not be welcomed by the assembled gathering.

The moment underscored the often colorful nature of political rallies in India, where enthusiasm can sometimes escalate to overwhelming decibel levels. Kharge's witty intervention drew responses from the crowd, highlighting the informal rapport that often characterizes such political events.

The INDIA bloc rally brought together leaders from multiple opposition parties contesting against the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party ahead of national elections. Kharge's comment reflected the Congress president's bid to maintain order while keeping the atmosphere light during the extended event.
