Kian-M Export has moved forward with its public market debut by submitting IPO registration documents to market regulator Sebi on Thursday. The company is seeking to raise ₹500 crore through a fresh equity issue, according to filings reviewed by LSN News.
Beyond the primary capital raise, the offering will include an offer for sale (OFS) component allowing existing shareholders to divest up to 15 lakh equity shares. The combined structure is detailed in the Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) filed with Sebi.
The IPO represents a significant milestone for the company as it prepares to tap capital markets. The fresh capital infusion is expected to fund expansion plans and strengthen the balance sheet, though specific deployment details were not immediately outlined in the regulatory filing.
Once Sebi approves the DRHP, Kian-M Export will move toward finalizing the prospectus and setting a timeline for the public offering. The secondary component through OFS provides an exit opportunity for promoters or early investors while the primary issue brings new capital into the company.
