The Goodday KidSTART programme is launching its fourth season with an enhanced format designed to foster entrepreneurial skills among Malaysian youth. The initiative combines structured educational components with industry mentorship to prepare participants for competitive pitching at a national level.
Participants will progress through a comprehensive development pathway, beginning with foundational business and innovation training delivered through school-based modules. This educational phase equips young entrepreneurs with essential knowledge in areas such as idea validation, market research, and business planning.
Following the classroom curriculum, selected participants will receive direct mentorship from experienced business professionals and entrepreneurs. This hands-on guidance enables young businesspeople to refine their concepts and develop viable business propositions under expert tutelage.
The programme culminates in a national pitch competition where finalists will present their business ideas to judges and investors. For the first time, the grand finale will be broadcast on television, providing winners with increased visibility and potential access to funding and business opportunities.
The expansion reflects growing interest in developing entrepreneurial talent from an early age, with organisers positioning the televised element as a means to inspire wider participation in future seasons while celebrating Malaysian youth innovation.
