King's College Wimbledon HCMC reaches structural milestone ahead of 2027 launch

King's College Wimbledon's expansion into Vietnam has reached a significant construction milestone with the completion of the main structural framework at its Ho Chi Minh City campus site. Located within The Global City mixed-use development, the facility marks the London-based school's first campus in Southeast Asia.

The project is advancing according to schedule, with developers confirming that remaining construction work will be finalised in the second quarter of 2027. Once operational, the campus will extend the King's College Wimbledon brand to one of Asia's most dynamic education markets.

The Global City, situated in District 2 of Ho Chi Minh City, has emerged as a premier destination for international educational institutions and residential communities. King's College Wimbledon joins other established international schools operating or planned for the development zone.

The arrival of King's College Wimbledon reflects growing demand from expat families and Vietnamese parents seeking British-curriculum education options. The school, which traces its heritage to London's prestigious independent education sector, will serve students from primary through secondary levels upon opening.
