KL environment dept alerts vendors to three bogus government order schemes

The Kuala Lumpur Federal Territory Department of Environment (JAS WPKL) has identified three distinct schemes involving forged government purchase orders, prompting an urgent warning to the vendor community.

The department discovered that fraudsters have been issuing counterfeit procurement documents purporting to come from government agencies. These fake orders have been circulated to suppliers and contractors, potentially exposing businesses to financial losses and legal complications.

JAS WPKL officials have urged all vendors and service providers to verify the authenticity of government orders through official channels before proceeding with transactions.
