The Stormers have included Kolisi in their squad for the away clash at Hive Stadium, with the 32-year-old poised to rekindle his relationship with the franchise where his professional career began. Kolisi's return represents a significant moment for both the player and the provincial side, as he prepares to take the field once more in the colours of his original team.
The South African skipper's extended absence from the Stormers reflects his commitments with the national team and stints abroad during his career. However, his reintegration into the squad underscores the continuing importance of provincial rugby in the development and maintenance of elite talent within South African rugby.
Friday's encounter will see the Stormers travel to Scotland for their United Rugby Championship fixture, with Kolisi's presence expected to provide both leadership and experience to the squad. The player's availability marks a boost for the provincial franchise as they navigate the demanding competition.
