Kon Ka Kinh National Park releases 31 endangered animals to wild

Kon Ka Kinh National Park has completed the release of 31 endangered animals back into the wild following an extensive rehabilitation process at its wildlife centre. The animals, which had been in captivity or required rescue, were prepared for their return through a series of professional recovery procedures designed to restore their health and natural instincts.

The rehabilitation programme included veterinary treatment, specialized nutrition and behavioral training to help the animals regain the skills necessary for survival in their natural environment. Centre staff worked systematically to assess each animal's readiness before returning it to the wild, ensuring optimal chances of successful adaptation.

The release represents a significant milestone in the park's conservation efforts and underscores the importance of wildlife rehabilitation in protecting endangered species across the region. The programme demonstrates the feasibility of returning rescued and treated animals to nature when proper care and preparation are provided.

Kon Ka Kinh National Park, located in the Central Highlands, continues to serve as a critical refuge for rare and endangered species. Similar rehabilitation initiatives across Southeast Asia have shown positive results in bolstering wild populations and maintaining biodiversity in protected forest areas.
