Kulim man charged with wife's murder in jealousy case

KULIM, Sept 21 — A former technician pleaded not guilty to murder charges in the Magistrate's Court here today after being accused of killing his wife in a jealousy-fuelled incident. The 40-year-old man is alleged to have committed the offence at their home address in the Kulim district. The court was informed that the incident occurred following a dispute between the couple, with authorities indicating that jealousy was a contributing factor to the alleged crime. The accused has been remanded in custody pending further investigations and will appear in court again for case management proceedings. Police have completed initial investigations into the matter, and the prosecution is expected to pursue the case in the higher court.
