L&T secures major contracts for Delhi secretariat and Amaravati towers

Engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro has secured substantial contracts for two major infrastructure projects spanning the national capital and Andhra Pradesh's capital region. The orders encompass the construction of two Central Secretariat office buildings in New Delhi, alongside two 47-storey commercial towers planned for Amaravati.

The Delhi secretariat buildings are scheduled for completion within 24 months, while the Amaravati office towers will take 30 months to complete. These projects represent a significant addition to L&T's order book and underscore the company's continued involvement in large-scale government and urban infrastructure development across India.

The Central Secretariat project aligns with the government's modernization efforts in New Delhi's administrative infrastructure, while the Amaravati towers support the development of the new state capital. Both projects are expected to incorporate contemporary construction standards and architectural specifications.

L&T, one of India's largest conglomerates in engineering, procurement, and construction, regularly undertakes mega-infrastructure contracts across residential, commercial, and government sectors. These latest orders add to the company's active portfolio of high-value projects across multiple Indian states.
