La Salle Greenhills in Mandaluyong City transitioned to online synchronous classes on August 27, prompting the school to notify parents and guardians of the unexpected change in learning modality.

The school's administration announced the shift via advisory late Wednesday evening, citing a "security concern" as the reason for the decision. The move encompassed all grade levels operating at the campus, including preschool through Grade 12 students, as well as those enrolled in International Baccalaureate and Alternative Education programs.

The institution did not provide further details regarding the specific nature of the security issue that precipitated the switch to remote learning. All classes were conducted synchronously online, maintaining the regular school schedule despite the campus closure.

La Salle Greenhills is one of the De La Salle University system's premier secondary institutions in the National Capital Region, serving hundreds of students from various socioeconomic backgrounds.
