Lam Dong province secured 70 new projects with combined registered capital exceeding 176.49 trillion VND (approximately 6.78 billion USD) during January through October, provincial authorities reported. The figure represents an 18-project increase compared to the same period in 2023, indicating accelerating investment momentum in the highland region.
The surge in foreign and domestic capital flows reflects broader efforts by Lam Dong to enhance its competitive positioning as an investment destination. The province has prioritized infrastructure development, particularly in transport connectivity, to support economic diversification and facilitate business operations across multiple sectors.
Beyond manufacturing and commerce, Lam Dong has intensified promotion of its tourism sector, leveraging its natural landscapes and climate to attract high-value long-stay international visitors. Simultaneously, the province has pursued deeper economic and tourism partnerships with South Korea and other regional markets, positioning itself as a gateway for cross-border trade and investment in Southeast Asia.
Investment inflows into Lam Dong are expected to continue strengthening as infrastructure projects reach completion and the province consolidates its reputation as a stable, business-friendly location within Vietnam's central highlands region.
