A landslide has rendered impassable a section of the National Road near the San Isidro-Aninuan boundary in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro, disrupting traffic flow early Tuesday morning. The Puerto Galera Public Information Office confirmed the road blockage as of 7:15 a.m., with debris covering the thoroughfare near Camprock.

The incident has effectively isolated the affected area, preventing vehicular movement across the blocked section of the critical transport corridor. Local authorities have yet to provide details on the extent of the damage or the volume of debris that needs to be cleared.

Motor vehicle operators have been advised to exercise heightened caution and to seek alternative routes to bypass the affected zone. The Public Information Office did not specify an estimated timeframe for clearing operations or reopening the national road to regular traffic. Road maintenance crews are expected to assess the situation and begin remedial work to restore passage along the route.
