Khamphao Ernthavanh, Laos's ambassador to Vietnam, has outlined four priority areas aimed at strengthening strategic cohesion between Laos and Vietnam, ahead of Prime Minister Le Minh Hung's official visit to Vientiane scheduled for October 8-9.

The visit, extended at the invitation of Lao Prime Minister Saleumxay Kommasith, represents a pivotal moment for both nations. Ernthavanh characterized the trip as a significant development for advancing the longstanding friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation and strategic partnership that defines Laos-Vietnam relations.
