Lingayat body demands proper completion of Basavakalyan cultural centre

The Jagatika Lingayat Mahasabha (JLM) has resolved to oppose the inauguration of the newly constructed Anubhava Mantapa in Basavakalyan until the building is fully completed and ready for use.

At a recent meeting, the organisation stressed the importance of ensuring the cultural and religious centre meets proper standards before any public ceremony. The JLM has called on the Karnataka state government to prioritise timely release of allocated funds and accelerate ongoing construction work to meet completion timelines.

The Anubhava Mantapa, a significant cultural venue in the town, holds religious and historical importance for the Lingayat community. The JLM's intervention reflects concerns among community leaders that premature inauguration could compromise the facility's quality and functionality.
